Drink of the Week!

For this week's drink, I wanted to do something more off the wall. Therefore, I have chosen the bacon martini! This interesting take on the martini was created in 1985 by P Moss of the Double Down Saloon in Las Vegas. Even though this martini is kind of gross sounding, I still oddly want to give it a try.


Fry 3 strips of bacon until they are crisp. The key here is to use the heartiest hickory smoked bacon you can find. Massage the 3 strips of bacon into a bottle of vodka then let it sit for 48 hours. Pour the bacon infused vodka into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well. Then strain into a chilled martini glass and serve without garnish. Simple!

Don't forget what a killer Bloody Mary this bacon vodka would make!
